Who it's for
Who Lacuum Is Built For
Private and public lake owners face prohibitive operational costs and strict regulatory limits on chemical usage. Lake management companies are severely capped by labor shortages — often forced to turn down lucrative maintenance contracts.
- Lake & pond management companies
- Landscaping companies
- Lake associations & HOAs
- Property managers
- Municipalities and public works
- Parks & recreation departments
- Golf clubs
- Marinas
- Universities & corporate campuses
- Landowners with a pond or lake

The problem
Vegetation management is repetitive work that never ends.
Lacuum is built for water that needs managing more than once.
If the need is a single one-time cleanup, or the work isn't aquatic vegetation, this isn't the right tool — and we'd rather say so here.
The offer
Both pieces. One First Edition price.

01 · THE PLATFORM
01
The platform
An autonomous boat. It moves through the water on its own and carries the equipment. The open space in the middle is where that equipment goes.

Sold on its own · $37,500
02
The trimmer
The attachment included in this package. It connects into the middle of the platform and is what actually handles the vegetation.

Sold on its own · $7,500
03
Easy configuration
The trimmer seats between the pontoons, then lowers into the water to work. That center bay is a universal tray, so the same platform can take on different work as your needs change.
04
A job, start to finish
Step 1: Drive it to the water
Compact enough to fit in a standard pickup bed.
Step 2: Easy transition in the water
It drives from land straight into the water. No boat ramp.
Step 3: Identify the area to clean
Set the stretch of water you want covered.
Step 4: It works, you watch
The trimmer lowers and it works the area, steering around obstacles on its own.

Remote Operations
A single off-site technician can deploy and oversee multiple autonomous vessels simultaneously, with the option for manual operation whenever needed. Reducing labor by up to 70%.
Data Collection
Generates operational information through mapping, and onboard environmental sensors, giving more insight into waterways over time.
Autonomous Navigation
Smart sensing allows the platform to navigate missions while detecting and avoiding obstacles through redundant safety systems.
AI-Plant Recognition
Onboard machine learning enables real-time identification of invasive plant species, focuses treatment on targeted areas, and helps meet regulatory compliance.
Safety is fundamental to every Lacuum deployment
Safety measures built into every mission
The platform continuously detects and navigates around wildlife, boats, and other moving obstacles using advanced movement detection. Multiple safety systems, including an immediate manual takeover and an independent emergency kill switch with a range of up to one mile, ensure operators always have the ability to intervene when needed.
Transition from land to water
Amphibious mobility
Lacuum transitions seamlessly between land and water without requiring a boat ramp or launch infrastructure. Its amphibious design allows it to operate in shallow waterways, marinas, around docks, and other difficult-to-reach locations while leaving sensitive turf undamaged. It fits nicely in a standard pickup truck, making transportation and setup fast and simple.
Figures depend on operating conditions and configuration.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Lacuum is an autonomous surface vessel — a boat that moves through the water on its own and carries task-specific equipment in a central attachment area. This package pairs it with a trimmer attachment for aquatic vegetation management.
The Lacuum autonomous surface vessel ($37,500 on its own), the aquatic vegetation trimmer attachment ($7,500 on its own), and the debris/plastic collector basket. The vessel and trimmer bought separately are $45,000. The First Edition 50 price is $36,000.
Yes. The aquatic vegetation trimmer is part of this package and is what performs the vegetation work. The debris/plastic collector basket is included as well.
Anyone responsible for a pond or lake that needs recurring vegetation work — lake and pond management companies, municipalities, parks departments, golf clubs, HOAs and lake associations, marinas, universities, and private landowners. It is built around work that repeats, rather than a single one-time cleanup.
We're opening Lacuum's first production allocation to 50 early customers. First Edition customers get the package at $36,000 instead of $45,000, along with an extended warranty and an extended software update period.
The First Edition allocation is limited to 50 systems.
Target delivery is July 2027. This is a target rather than a guaranteed date — Lacuum is still approaching production, and First Edition customers are kept informed of progress as it develops.

Yes. The platform has a universal attachment tray that can be configured for your waterway. This package includes the aquatic vegetation trimmer and the debris/plastic collector basket. The platform also supports other mission modules — a targeted chemical sprayer, an oil skimmer, sediment sampling and UV system deployment among them. The same robot also maps waterways and monitors water conditions.
Yes. The $1,800 reservation fee is fully refundable.
It's compact enough to fit in a standard pickup truck bed. It is amphibious, so it moves from land into the water on its own without a boat ramp or any launch infrastructure. That also lets it work shallow water, marinas and areas around docks without damaging turf.
Up to 5 hours per charge, depending on operating conditions and configuration. That works out to about 1.5 acres trimmed per charge, and one machine can maintain up to 100 acres every 5 weeks.
It runs its mission on its own, detecting and steering around wildlife, boats and other moving obstacles. A single off-site technician can oversee several vessels at once, and can take manual control at any time. There is also an independent emergency kill switch effective up to about a mile away.
